Our team news is up Lovren is back in so they will score,Lambert starting, no borini on bench again so lambert will be knackered by half time and we will have no other option

I really don't know what Rodgers is thinking with this. Lambert can't play every minute of every game and there's been times in these last few games where just a bit of energy from Borini off the bench would have been huge for us. The only thing I can think of is that Rodgers/the club are trying to force Borini into leaving in January.
 
Lovren? Europa League it is then :(

Edit: The more I think about it the worse that lineup looks. Johnson, Enrique and Lovren over Manquillo, Moreno and Sakho is baffling as is the lack of creativity and pace in midfield with the options we have available on the bench. Rodgers has got this Champions League campaign all wrong and he still isn't learning from his mistakes :(

I can only think Rodgers wants to make this season harder for himself as so far he is making all the tactical choices wrong. Baz I agree on borini front he must have said something to warrant this complete exclusion though it just doesn't make sense he should then at least take a youth/reserve team striker to inject that pace cause lambert just can't do it
 
Any team would pretty much jump at the chance of having to beat Basel at home for a place in the knockout rounds of the CL.
They just need to get on with it, so do the fans.
