think this is the right place

im planning trying to get my hands on tickets for this game next year as it is in glasgow but i cant seem to get any usefull info whatsoever from either the hampden website or the uefa website. can anyone suggest any other likey sources of info. google is just throwing up a minefield of past games etc

I seem to remember there was a link posted here around Feb time to the uefa site where you could enter into a ballot for tickets for these sort of games..Champions league final/uefa cup final. there were 11,000 neutral tickets up for grabs if I remember rightly

Yep what Von said, you can enter your details for a ballot around Feb. Think the draw was made around April time.

the majority of the tickets from the ballot ended up on the black market which really does pee off the fans of the two teams completing in the final when those teams are only given 10000 tickets each. Ended up paying £120 for my ticket and that's because I brought them after we had gotten beaten in the first leg against Steaua in the semi final. A few weeks later tickets were going for £300 each.

I tried to get tickets for the UCL final in 2002 so I'm determined to get down to this one.

The UEFA registration page was hosted by yahoo the last time I tried, and only accepted Mastercard iirc, just so you're prepared.

so its a wait and seetill feb then.

cheers guys. no harm in trying i suppose and who knows i might get lucky and actually get to see a british team :p

edit :-

got this reply from the sfa to an email enquiry

Thank you for your e mail. Uefa have advised that they lannounce
ticket
information on their web site in January 2007. this will be via
www.uefa.com

Thank you.

Since i'm right next door to Hampden, if i don't get tickets....I'll just hang my head out the window and listen.....It'll be as good as being there......Honest! :(

The UCL Final in 2002 was excellent....We have a local area thats all outdoor pitches near Hampden (beside Queens Park) and Real Madrid set up massive tents for their fans...All day entertainment laid on and coaching classes.....In steps KennyBhoy to show the Scottish "Hatchet" Style of play ;)

Got a little kick around with the fans too, couldn't speak a word to each other....My days of trying to speak Spanish are long gone with the last holiday to Shagaluf! :D

Hopefully it'll be another good setup and game
