UEFA Europa Conference League Final Roma v Feyenoord** spoilers ** [Wednesday 25th May 2022]

I think Roma was a good move for him. It has given him the room to reset without the pressure of the Premier League as lets face it he hasn't been the same for a long while. I am sure bar City and Liverpool. Every other English team would have been happy winning the conference league.

Chris Smalling man of the match as well. A stark contrast compared to our 80 million signing.

I guess the same could have been said about Tammy as well. Chelsea could have just saved their 100 million and left Lukaku at Inter. Funny how things pan out in the end.

You sure that isn't just suggesting that the Italian League perhaps isn't that strong or high quality...

I stand by my view that Mourinho is still a top class manager, he just isn't the right manager for any team at the sharp end of the game anymore. All of his best teams have been full of hard working soldiers who do as they are told and run through walls for their manager. He doesn't pander to the overpaid, pampered egos that the biggest teams all contain now. Previously managers were the big dog and players would be sold if they caused issue. Now its the manager that almost always gets the boot.
