UEFI - About to install windows 7 - Need advice

Hi,

I'm about to install Windows 7 64 bit on a new build.

Done it loads of times on traditional setups but concious that my Motherboard has UEFI.

Basically what is it, is it worth using and does it mean I have to do anything different to install windows?

UEFI (Unified Extensible Firmware Interface) is just a fancier BIOS really (with a lot more functionality). It won't have any effect on your installtion. What might affect the installation is secure boot, just make sure it's disabled.

I think thats W8 only.
