I am trying to boot into the BIOS on my machine but the option seems to be missing.

From looking online the way to do it is Settings --> Change PC settings --> Advance Setup. But the "UEFI Firmware Settings" option is missing!!

On start up the PC does not show the option to hit F2 or Del for setup.

Does anyone have this issue or know an alternative way to get into the bios??

Hold escape while switching on the PC until an option appears. Might just be ASUS boards, but I've seen it on plenty of their UEFI-based motherboards (desktops and laptops at work).

Spam DEL or F12 when the PC is first booting up.

The OS won't be able to influence the BOOT process, as it's done through the motherboard.

Yea I tried the above but still doesn't work. It then hangs and doesn't even boot into windows. All i get is the usual "No Signal" on my monitor until windows boots and the log in screen appears.

With my Asus motherboard, there is a little program that allows you to choose to boot into the BIOS on restart from within Windows. Dunno if that's something you have for your motherboard.

You could always try clearing the CMOS, that'll put everything to default and hopefully show the enter BIOS option on boot.

Instructions are in the motherboard manual.

OK guys I found the reason why and is quite silly!! lol

I have two GPUs in sli and running one cable to monitor and other to my TV. When both are connected to the one card the boot menu doesn't appear. So switched cable for the monitor to the first GPU and bingo I can now see the whole boot process :)

Thanks for the help guys :)
