Asrock Fatality 990FX pro.
On updating to Bios V2.0
The machine will boot into windows and run fine. However attempting to enter bios (Either by hitting keys under start up or by using the "Reboot to UEFI" utility) results in...
A black screen with a pointer in the middle of the screen and small letters "AB" in the bottom right hand corner.
On moving the mouse pointer blocks of underlying screen are revealed (A bit like mouse trails/using and etch a sketch) and I can eventually reveal the background screen for the UEFI but without any clickable locations or other text.
I haven't yet tried doing anything other than a quick web search (But haven't found anything exactly the same as my issue) prefering to seek advice first.

Has anybody experienced/seen this before? any suggestions as to what might be going on and/or what might resolve the issue?
As I said, the PC boots into windows just fine, but is of course running at only default settings.
