UEFI ??? Secure boot windows 8.1 pro

I recently re installed windows 8.1 pro last night after it finished in the bottom right hand corner it said "service boot not configured" I researched and found I had to alter the setting in my bios menu, the message has now gone, my question is why did it do this n do I leave it using this boot mode or revert back to normal boot???

Just leave it as it is.

Using 8.1 Pro myself my service boot goes Windows Boot Manager> SSD> Optical Drive> Network Card.

If you change the order it will not boot up.
