  • James Te-Huna (11-4) vs Igor Pokrajac (21-6)
  • CB Dolloway (9-2) vs Goran Reljic (8-0)
  • Chris Lytle (27-17) vs Brian Foster (13-4)
  • Stephan Bonner (11-6) vs Krystof Soszynski (18-9)
  • Elvis Sinosic (8-11) vs Chris Haseman (20-16)

Main Card

  • Mirko Cro-Cop (25-7) vs Ben Rothwell (30-7)
  • Keith Jardine (15-6) vs Ryan Bader (10-0)
  • Joe Stevenson (31-10) vs George Sotiropolous (11-2)
  • Wanderlei Silva (32-10) vs Michael Bisping (18-2) *record padded with cans
  • Antonio Rodrigo Nogueira (32-5) vs Cain Velasquez (7-0)

Main card picks

Rothwell for win - Cro-cop has just been awful in the UFC - can't see that changing.

Jardine v Bader - Never a boring fight involving Jardine but i think Bader will grind out the win here.

Love Sotiropolous BBJ skills - some of the best going. However Stevenson is a great fighter as well. Would love Sotiropolous to win with some slick BBJ skills, but will take Stevenson by TKO

Silva v Bisping - can he recover from the massive KO from Henderson?? I don't think so. I have no issues with Bisping i do like the guy but i think Silva will employ the same tactics as Henderson and generally swing for the fences against Bisping. Silva TKO round 2

Nogueira v Velasquez - hmm tough one - you can't help but love Nog, tough as nails and has some brilliant skills standing and on the ground. Velasquez is also pretty decent but will take Nog for the win here.

# Mirko Cro-Cop (25-7) vs Ben Rothwell (30-7)
# Keith Jardine (15-6) vs Ryan Bader (10-0)
# Joe Stevenson (31-10) vs George Sotiropolous (11-2)
# Wanderlei Silva (32-10) vs Michael Bisping (18-2) *record padded with cans
# Antonio Rodrigo Nogueira (32-5) vs Cain Velasquez (7-0)

Bisping's already fought since Hendo and looked very impressive. His confidence will be high for this fight.

Also Joe Stevenson seems so so strong and I think he'll win with a TKO.

For the main event it's gonna be close but Velasquez will probably take it.

Hopefully billy will pop up and pick 5 out of 5 again!

Bonus points if you can get guess the book reference!

I'll do my predictions later, I do hope it doesnt turn out the way you guys are predicting though, as if all 3 PRIDE guys lose I'll be crushed.

Ok here are my educated guesses for what they are worth.

Ben Rothwell TKO
Ryan Bader TKO
Joe Stevenson Submission by Guillotine
Michael Bisping TKO
Cain Velasquez TKO

[*]Mirko Cro-Cop (25-7) vs Ben Rothwell (30-7) - This is a tough fight to call, obviously my heart says Cro-Cop by LHK. Head says that Mirko is a spent force and Ben is going to be too big and powerful for him. Thing is, the people who have beaten Mirko lately have been smart enough to stay out of range of his devasting kicks, I dont think Rothwell has the footwork to do that, and I reckon hes going to get caught. CroCop by 2nd Round KO.

[*]Keith Jardine (15-6) vs Ryan Bader (10-0)
Jardine is much better on the feet, his akward striking always makes it difficult to stand and trade with him, but as long as Bader has no qualms about taking the fight to the ground, its going to a long night for Jardine. I see Bader constantly picking Jardine up, dropping him on his ass, laying in some GnP, rinse, repeat, for 3 rounds. Bader via dull UD.

[*]Joe Stevenson (31-10) vs George Sotiropolous (11-2)
I see this one going the same way as Nate vs Sonnen, wrestling guy picks the BJJ guy up, drops him on his back and pounds the living daylights out of him for 3 rounds. Dont think Joe Daddy has enough in his tank to finish George, but I think this is just too much of a step up for the aussie. I would like George to win, but cant see it happening, Joe Daddy via UD after 3 rounds of brutal GnP.

[*]Wanderlei Silva (32-10) vs Michael Bisping (18-2)
I know Wanderlei isnt the force he was back in Pride, but hes going to murder Michael 'Pillowfists' Bisping here. This is going to go the exact same way the fight with Hendo went. Bisping doesnt have enough power in his shots to drop Wand - who we all know has a suspect chin. Expect Wand to kick his legs out for the first round, taking away some of his spring, and then destroy Bisping with a clubbing shot followed by axe-murder style ****-choke GnP. Silva, round 2, knockout.

[*]Antonio Rodrigo Nogueira (32-5) vs Cain Velasquez (7-0)
Toughest fight of the night to call, again BJJ guy vs wrestling guy. The one difference, this isnt just any BJJ guy, this is the guy with the best BJJ guard (aside from Aoki perhaps) in MMA. On the feet its pretty even, neither of them are great strikers, and both will be looking for this fight to go the ground. Cain has great wrestling and awesome ground and pound, Nog has an awesome active guard, and Cain is going to present him with an oppurtuniy for the sub. It'll either go 3 round UD to Cain because of his GnP work from the top, or second round submission for Big Nog... I cant choose... sod it, Big Nog.

well hes odds on to not get them right this time, so i wouldnt put money on all of his choices

Btw, don't write crocop off just yet..

"He was quoted as saying "I did a few things wrong in training and in preparation for the Dos Santos fight, and will find the motivation and strength needed to come back".
Since then, Filipović has hired legendary former Muay Thai champion Ivan Hippolyte and revamped his whole training team. The source went on to say "After the defeat by Dos Santos, Mirko "Cro Cop" Filipovic has announced drastic changes in the training methods and composition of Team CroCop. Marjan Zizanovic is no longer his boxing coach. Instead, Cro Cop is now working with the Dutch Muay Thai legend Ivan Hippolyte, who these days resides in Zagreb. Filipović will combine training at his own facility with visits to the Netherlands where he can train with top-notch sparring partners. Igor Pokrajac, CroCop’s long-time friend and sparring partner, is also no longer in Filipović's team. Pokrajac continues his career with the UFC, but is no longer training with Filipović although the pair remain on good terms."

# Mirko Cro-Cop (25-7) vs Ben Rothwell (30-7)
# Keith Jardine (15-6) vs Ryan Bader (10-0)
# Joe Stevenson (31-10) vs George Sotiropolous (11-2)
# Wanderlei Silva (32-10) vs Michael Bisping (18-2) *record padded with cans
# Antonio Rodrigo Nogueira (32-5) vs Cain Velasquez (7-0)

With Rothwell out, and Cro Cop being fed an aussie can who has taken the fight on two days notice, I think we can pretty much expect a LHK KO.

The commentators on "MMA Live" last night were mentioning that the Pre-lims won't be on Spike TV for UFC110, doe's this mean that it'll also be missing off the espn coverage as well?

Main card picks

Mirko will beat that can anthony perosh i think hes been pulled off the streets, knockout in round one but not by headkick as he doesnt go for headkicks anymore.

Jardine v Bader - I never liked jardine i find him very dull to watch, he is on his way to being cut from the ufc if he loses, where as bader is an up and comer and much hungrier. Jardine is fighting to save his career so i think he will give the performance of his life and win by knockout in the 2nd round

Sotiropolous the way he is improving in every fight is immense - stevenson a great wrestler and george good at bjj, i give striking to george thats joes weak point, we saw what happened when stevenson fought a good bj guy when he was murdered by penn. Im finding this hard to call because i like both these guys a lot in different ways. I am going to go for stevenson to lay on george a lot and win on points i also think it will be a boring fight

Silva v Bisping - This is a fight for the fans as it makes no sense for mikey to take this fight what with silvas rapid decline and losing streak. Wanderlei will stare down bisping like mad but be too slow to back it up when the bell goes i think mike can fight smart and wear silva out to take a knockout in the 3rd round. However if wanderlei can get close and land a few its lights out for bisping

Nogueira v Velasquez - Velasquez is an animal and if he can take nog down he will have no problems keeping him there for a pretty dull win, i go with cain on points

* Mirko Cro-Cop (25-7) vs Ben Rothwell (30-7)
Rothwell looked terrible in his last fight, very out of shape. Cro Cop to knock his ribs out. WIN: Cro Cop

* Keith Jardine (15-6) vs Ryan Bader (10-0)
Bader has only really fought Schaffer - i can see Jardine taking this with a KO. WIN: Jardine

* Joe Stevenson (31-10) vs George Sotiropolous (11-2)
Home field advantage will be enough to get Sotiro pumped, providing he can deal with Stevenson on the ground as easily as Florian did i can see him picking up the W. WIN: Sotiro

* Wanderlei Silva (32-10) vs Michael Bisping (18-2)
Silva is going to knock Bispings face in. Not even funny how this fight got sanctioned as competitive. WIN: Silva KO first round.

* Antonio Rodrigo Nogueira (32-5) vs Cain Velasquez (7-0)
Very tough call. Cain has looked sick, but has he fought someone as top draw as Nog? I think Cains boxing and footwork can go a long way to beating Nog, but hes gotta avoid the ground at all costs. WIN: Velasquez

I have high hopes for Bisping, thought he was superb in his last fight even after getting rocked a little. As long as he can avoid the heavy shots i think he will be too quick for Silva and can see him getting a decision.

The last place Cain wants to take that fight is to the floor man.
