Really amped for this card after last weeks let down.

Gutted that Karo and Tyson Griffin are on the undercard, we better get to see them !

yea looking forward to this as well. much better than the previous 2 cards ut together in terms of top fighter profiles here.

hoping for a machida and BJ win but we shall see. im not putting the house down on it anyway.

William Hill has some really good odds on Matt Hughes 6/5 and rampage at 15/8 lol although i think rampage will lose at those odds a lucky punch from him could land, £20 to see £57.50

Really looking forword to this also due to the last one ;<

Looking forward to seeing Sotiro and Mr Wonderful's fights. Machida vs Rampage will be a bit of a cat and mouse i suspect, very interested to see how Machida bounces back from his first KO (correct me if wrong).

Been looking forward to seeing Machida in the ring for some time now. Wonder if the last fight messed with his confidence. If not then he should win it easily, probably on points.

I remember when he was coming out to the last fight he looked nervous/scared. Messed with him a lot, and as a result got knocked out pretty quick.

Shame Shogun is out for so long, cant wait for him to defend his title :)

Good card after the complete abomination that was UFC122.

I'm hoping BJ can bounce back in brutal fashion against Hughes, that guy just manages to get my back up. I don't know if anyone has read his book, but how anyone can still like that guy after that is beyond me. I know it's an Americanism but this guy just opitimises the word "Douche"

Rampage at 15/8 is a potential bet, although I can see this being a very boring affair. Machida, being "elusive" aka, running away, with Rampage closing the distance but ultimately trying to counter punch = decision written all over it.

I dont see why Machida would be so concerned after his first KO loss. He completely changed his gameplan for the second fight and didn't fight his normal style that he has for is whole life and it lead to him getting caught. That being said Rampage possesses some horrifyingly powerful punching so one landing will spell the end. I'm still going to favour 'Macheeta' for his pure speed :D

Really want to see Hughes take out BJ, i can't see it happening at all but i can't stand that little git.

Can't stand Hughes after watching the second season of TUF, don't think I could ever manage to read his book.

Machida will have this fight on his elusiveness like you say, just will probably make an awful fight.

Hope BJ wins and looking forward to see Rampage fight again, his style if ferocious!
Got to love or hate those chains lol

Rampage as a fighter is my hero, as a person/coach he showed he was a bit of a tool on TUF.

Rampage needs to mix it up if he wants to win this fight he has become way too 1 dimensional, it's MMA not boxing!

Want Hughes to beat BJ.

Yup cant wait... I got a feeling hughes just in the right frame of mind hes said he aint concerned with losses and with belts/championship but he just enjoys it and ejoys winning it more.... Bj however those 2 losses I dunno its like hes not even in the ring and its just his body trying to win ?

Matts 3 winning fight streak Vs BJs 2 Losses

Matts gonna finish him ! did anyone see his brutal guillotine while standing up last fight? and this kid was young and had some skills !

As for Rampage, hes been talking a lot lately but only suggesting Machidas style is boring and he wont bring it... almost like hes calling him out to fight cos he knows all it takes is one rampage bomb and Rampage may then get a shot against Evans/shogun... again! He has a personal agenda considering both beat him.

Anyhow Im gonna put a fairly large bet on Matt.... if I loose I loose its only money lol !

Completely missed UFC 122 which isn't a bad thing really. Looking forward to 123 :).

Hoping for a Machida win but wouldn't be disappointed if Jackson wins. Not really worried about Penn or Hughes either, just want a good fight. I am really looking forward to Sotiropoulos, hope he gets a good win!

Yeah he choked out Almeida with a front head lock basically, very impressive to see it used in MMA, its pretty big in wrestling (actual wrestling, not Hulkamania).

If he wins he'll have a 3 fight streak against Gracie, Almeida and BJ Penn. Pretty impressive.

Anyone betting on the fights tonight?

If so how much ya guys laying down on the bj/hughes or rampage/machida fight ?

I was thinking of trying a small bet out, but ive got a real feeling matt hughes is gonna destroy BJ but not sure anymore, hes changed his camp and perhaps he knows if its his 3rd straight loss the ufc may start to consider other things !

Jackson by KO 1st round - I think that Machida was never as "good" as he was made out to be and he has his hands full with Jackson's power.

Penn v Hughes - tough call - really not sure - will plump for a Hughes by relatively boring points win

Harris v Falcao - Falcao via KO with that record of 21 out of 25 wins by KO! (albeit a relative unknown in terms of UFC)

Boetsch v Davis - Davis via 2nd rd Stoppage

Sotiropoulos v Lauzon - the one fight I can't wait to see, Sotiropoulos has been superb and his ground game is stunning - sticking with the same again Sotiropoulos via sub. This will be a fast paced affair and could be fight of the night material for sure!

Brown v Foster - brown via sub

The jackson v Machida fight is a real hmm, cant decide weather Jackson is their for his paycheck only or if Machida has been over hyped, can really see it going either way and i think it might be a first round finish.

Matt Hughes to sub bj in the first round also :D
