The Arlovski v Sylvia was just like a boxing match! It may have been the main event but the earlier Edwards/Stevenson fight was much more entertaining.

The Christison V Mir fight was pap too, both fighters need to get out and do some cardio, both were exhausted after the first round.

Also, how often are these UFC events held? as it wasn't that long ago that I remember watching UFC 52 or something... :confused:

Spot on. The referee made the right decision in my opinion.

As soon as Tito got him on the ground there was only one way this fight was going to end. Shamrock is now well past it and I hope for his sake there won't be a third installment.

All in all a pretty average event, Edwards/Stevenson was really great and the announcement about Wandy was the highlight of the night. Other than that it was abit pants. Herb should have prob waited for 2 or 3 more elbows, Ken would have lost whatever, I was more dissapointed with the HWs. Pride will send someone over to clean up that division, no worries. I hope they ban elbows, and replace with kicks to head on a downed opponent.

Rampage Jackson is a pro fighter, I love the guy, he's a gangster IRL as well.

Rampage Jackson Is a likeable character. Ive got a PrideFC dvd where he joins the commentary team (Bas Rutten = legend) and he is just so funny. He seems quite gangsta but in a nice way on PrideFC if that makes any sense?

Watched ufc61 on bravo last night. The first fight was awesome, loads of blood! And as for the Shamrock vs Ortiz fight I wouldn't have stopped it if I was the ref. I was hoping Ken would've started another fight there and then when he was complaining. The later fights were pretty boring though.

It definetely has changed, I used to love every UFC and watch the whole event and be entertained but it's different now.

It's really hard though because I don't exactly know why? Nothing has really changed that I can put my finger on but it is a lot less entertaining now.

Up until UFC 57: Chuck vs Liddell 3 it was fine, UFC 57 was the last event I watched properly for like 3 hours.

not the best event by any means - disapointted in the Ortiz stoppage. but having seen it a couple of time i think the ref was right - he didn't have his hands up and i think ref was right to stop it!

What was orlovski thinking!!! - won the 1st round by inside leg kicks etc and then decides to have a stand up fight???? what a numpty

Fairly boring night of UFC - one of the poorest so far.

Get Rampage Unchained DVD. The dude is funny as hell. One of my Favourites fighters in and out fo the ring. In the DVD he gets some local bums to sprint for money LOL.

Pretty poor UFC overall, I couldnt be ar*ed to watch the whole HW fight. Apparently Arlovski is injured his left leg and is havin an MRI on it.
Anyone who says that the fight was stopped early, exactly what do u think Ken could have done? It would have been fight No.1 all over again. Think Herb must have felt sorry for him. Cant wait for Wanderlie to '..I want to ****...er Fight Chuck' :0)

I quite enjoyed the first fight but the rest was disappointing, how come there were only 4 fights anyway? When is pride on then, i never seem to be able to catch it on tv.

Its not shown on English tv.

Cro cop vs Wanderlei Silva is definate now for the next round of the gp! And Barnett vs Nogueira. I think its gonna be a Cro Cop vs Nog final.

This was a very disappointing event. Aside from the Joe Stevenson fight, nothing really happened.
