Have had a raid 0 array of wd vrs for a long time now, ever since my first install i would install all updates to win 7, install all my programs and utilities, then do an acronis backup of said array.
any other times i need to install i would just load this initial clean image.
now going SSD means i need to go from scratch
i have backed up ff, thunderbird profiles, loaded all the updated software onto an external drive and usb stick ready for the install.
is there a way to have initially both OSs working and optional at boot? so if i have forgotten anything i can just go back and get it?
i know this would mean having the raid array and SSD bootable initially, if this is a lot of hassle i will just get organised and do it from scratch!
