Hi guys
Currently I'm in a bit of a flap...
I've got a MSI GX723 which has been a cracking machine with one niggle...when looking at photographs sometimes (curiously usually with light skin tones), some of the image looks like it's drawn with 8 bit graphics, blocks of colour, lack of shading etc.
So I've downloaded the latest WHOL graphics drivers from Nvidia for the Geforce GT 130M, uninstalled the older drivers, rebooted and loaded them up.
It then gave me the option of installing the HD audio drivers only and wouldn't install anything graphics wise!
I've gone into device manager to the display tab and tried to install them manually - it now just calls it "standard VGA Graphics Adaptor" but it says "The best software for your device is already installed"

The worst thing (so far) is I can't change the screen brightness so I'm peering into a gloom.
If anyone has any suggestions I would love to hear them!
Many thanks
*edit* Just realised I have posted this in general hardware...it's probably more suited to graphics/laptops/general software. Sorry about that mods!
