I think I have a serious problem.
my Hard disk space is steadily decreasing.
Right down to zero.

I delete stuff, but it is still going down.
I open up the "properties" menu for my C: drive, and look at the amount of space I have free, I then click on my desktop, so that the window is no longer active, and then click on properties again, to re activate and refresh it, and the amount of space on my C:drive has gone down!

I have dropped about 6 GB in 30 mins!
what the hell is happening???
is this some nasty virus? I did a Spyware check earlier today and have removed it all..
I am thinking it must be a virus, and am running a scan, but are the any other possible causes for steadily and quite rapidly decreasing disk space???
help!!!!

I had this same problem once, it was the windows Dr Watson program going haywire and making a huge diagnosis file. Google helped me get rid of it!

I dont even think I have that program!!!!

Check your running processes in task manager. drwatson.exe iirc. End it and see if it pops up again straight away!

There was also a program i found that could list all files by total file size on a drive, will help you narrow down the actual file thats affecting the drivespace and google accordingly!

I had this problem, ran Adaware and Spybot S&D which found nothing. I was watching the scan and it moved to a hidden folder in c: called downloads full of porn files, I had a trojan (can't remember which one).
