UHD 4k bluray vs bluray upscaled to 4k

Anyone comment on this? Have read some reviews saying there isnt much difference.

Excluding HDR 4k BR's, there wont be much difference, most 4k BR's were shot in 2k.
The larger the tv gets the more you would notice.

not only the above (more 4k BR's mastered in 4k rather than 2k) but also its unlikely there will be many non-HDR releases (doing a new transfer for the 4k br anyway, little point not doing HDR at the same time)

Most 4k discs announced so far have been HDR anyway, so little point differentiating

Personally, I think HDR will be the main selling point
