uhidding documents

hi my documents are hidden, how can i unhide this,

sorry i meant that i am trying to make a backup but when i go to C:\Users\---------\

documents is hidden and it wont let me unhide it from the properties so it wont see the folder

tools>folder options>view>show hiden files and folders

done that but the software still wont see it

sorted the software not seeing it but would like to unhide it so when i log on to my windows 7 i can get that to see it

have you set it to reside in another dir?

ie..

D:\Documents for example, right click properties the link in start menu and check the location of it

my win 7 wont see it unless i type it in
