UK Based Cloud Storage

Hi,

I'm looking for decent UK based cloud storage.

I'm after around 30GB of storage, due to EU Data Protection issues the data cannot leave the EU, so US services like Dropbox are no good to me.

Any suggestions?
 
IIRC from when I looked all Amazon owned servers were still covered by the US Patriot act meaning they can access your data for whatever reason they please, that might be an issue for you.
 
Check very carefully as AFAIK, where the data is stored has no relation to the data protection your storage would get
There have been cases recently over copyright with English universities using European based storage in Ireland that have had data accessed via American laws as the parent company is American.
We were not one of them, but the JANET mailing lists are full of discussions over this and until the picture becomes clearer, have prohibited access to online storage while students are on campus until we can come up with a workable compromise..
