I'm in the market for a utility type vehicle, and wanted to know if there is a UK equivalent of the Corsa utility as you cannot get them here, unless imported.

thanks!

You need to be a bit more specific, as I really am not "into" cars - it just serves it's purpose, so I dont really know different models etc

I'd probably stay very clear of a Corsa utility vehicle.

Are you afer something small but practical? So a Toyota Hilux would be out of the question?

Just take a look at an Astra van or something.

Drove a Corsa Utility for quite a few years, and absolutely loved it :)
It fits my requirements so perfectly as I want a small nippy car, that could be driven around town, light on fuel but has the space to chuck my downhill bikes/surfboards and a dog into the back with easy. Sick of mud in my car and there is no way i'll stick my near enough £4k bike on the back or roof of a car.

edit: Asta van does look like the closest thing

So you want a pickup truck based on a small road car. There's not much like that in the UK, more popular in Oz.

You could maybe look for a Subaru Shifter (known as the Brat in the US), but they stopped selling those in 1994 and due to the unfortunate choice of name will be very difficult to Google for it now.

I believe the VW Caddy was also available in pickup form (Type 9U) but not sure if they sold them in the UK, and it's basically the same as that Skoda anyway.

Oh yes, what sort of age are you looking at, didn't they used to make a mini pickup? Quite hard to get hold of now though.

There's also this. :)

Why not just import something, it's really not that hard. I'm in the middle of that process now and it's just a case of finding a decent company to handle it for you.

Viral herpes.

If you take issue with having the gear on the back/roof of a car, I'd be more inclined to suggest a small can would be mor suitable.

Less chance of stuff getting pinched that way.
