A good move in my opinion.

As someone who used vaping to stop smoking many years ago, I can definitely see the benefit of it, vaping is better than smoking it seems.

However, the clear and obvious targeting of these disposable vapes to children is pretty disgusting, and then on top of that the amount of waste they create is absolute madness, i've seen litter bins outside shops absolutely LAYERED with the little stickers that go on the bottom of the vapes, as well as elf bars in pretty much every gutter/road side you happen to walk past.

I will miss a cheeky Lost Mary on a night out after a load of beers though, looks like Mary will be lost again... :p

Good, should never have been allowed in the first place. Now bring deposit on plastic bottles. I've spent 3 weeks in Slovakia in august and it was such a simple process to return the empty bottles.

THIS!

Have spent a lot of time in Germany and there really is no excuse for us not having it.

People will still throw them away in the streets sadly but then you get people collecting them = free clean up!

Dont agree with a ban as a user of disposables myself. I would much rather they were treated more like cigarettes, bog standard packaging, not allowed to be displayed/advertised, and actually force the companies to recycle them/make them more recyclable.

I've tried numerous refillable vapes and nothing comes close to the taste/flavour/hit from disposables.

I got an OXVA Xlim Pro kit not too long ago that I use every now and again, and using Salt Nic liquid you get a similar if not better taste, flavour and hit.

The reason I used to use disposables is the refilling and leaking of liquid. Used to to my head in ending up with a pocket full of liquid, or the liquid leaking through the coils and ending up with a mouth full of liquid!

I would only sell the disposable vapes in shops that sell tobacco products and shops dedicated to vaping. Not sweet shops. Not Poundland. With dedicated vaping shops, my friend was in one and 3 kids tried to come in and one of the workers said "you need to be 18" to them and they left.

Plus get rid of the colourful packaging. Some vapes I have seen are black with different coloured writing on them to match the flavour. That would be acceptable. Another acceptable way - again seen the vapes whilst wombling - a simple symbol(s) of flavours.

This has just crossed my mind as well, mental how basically anywhere can them when tobacco licensing is so strict!

Well duh lol. I can't believe it's taking the government so long to catch up with the obvious waste and obvious youth issues....

And I thought people wanted to save the planet but are indoctrinated into believing these are better. If society is anything to go by there'll be no sustainable planet capable of supporting current life in a couple of hundred years anyway.

Total Recall was ambitious at saying that was life on Mars when in reality it'll be life on Earth...

The planet will be fine, she's been through worse and come out the other side, it's humans that won't be. Probably for the better tbh...
