Don't have the link to it but look for stag do/hen do houses in Brighton/Hove area - there all fairly similar, big lounge area and kitchen area and various bedrooms some with a double some with two or three beds etc...
Less of a faff to get to than some Eastern European place with set flights - very easy for others to arrive at different times or let themselves in (if it is just a key code on the door) and meet you in town on say the Friday night after work. (especially as your location says London)
OK you're not going to be quite as surrounded by nature as per a house in the country, but you'll have a back garden that you could have a BBQ in, can still play beer pong etc.. pre-drink a bit in the large house.
I personally think it is the best of both worlds - you still get the outdoor activities within walking distance - you can go to the beach, go do water sports, go karting etc.. but you're also not far from civilisation... again within walking distance or short taxi ride of your big stag do house you have a bunch of pubs, you have live comedy, clubs, beach bars and strip clubs etc..
with some other locations you're a bit compromised - some big house in the country = fun daytime activities but nighttime = local pub/whatever is in small local town or sitting around in the house drinking with the highlight being some old tart who comes along for 30 mins and does the strip show. Likewise some rented house in a big city - more limited daytime activities... maybe intercity go karting or an escape room or something.
