UKFSN DNS Issues?

Hey guys,

Just wondering if anyone with ukfsn is having issues with their web browsing?

My email and torrents are fine, but my internet is almost non-existent - seems like it could be a dns problem :(

I'm posting this through my Uni's vpn :D

PS. I know their website is down atm? I don’t know if that's related…
 
no problems here and i'm on ukfsn. also the connection isn't really with them. the connection is through enta so if there was a problem, it would affect all enta users.

i just checked and their site is down for me also - that's just a co-incidence i think. i've been using the free webspace/ftp server/phpmyadmin all afternoon with no problems.
 
Hmmm. Could it just be their dns servers? Or are all Entanet resellers using the same ones?

I'm using the automatic settings for dns atm - does anyone know some free ones that I can try?

My connection completely unusable atm :rolleyes:

I think theres something wrong with central 1, as ive been having problems with it all week, and its just that central.

When i connect on that central, browsing is randomly really slow, or non existant, if i go to a page, i just get waiting for blah, blah, blah at the bottom, and an empty white bar (the loading one), and it just sits like that for ages with the busy pointer, so i have to close ff, and fire it back up, then the page i was trying to get loads instantly, or sometimes i can just hit refresh while its hanging, and then it loads fine as well, so i change to a differnt central, and its all perfect all the time, so bugger knows whats up with central 1, as its just that one that its happening on, ive just had to jump onto a different pipe there now as i was on central 1 again, and it was doing the same bloody random hanging crap.

Yeah I'm still having problems...

Things were fine last night after the reboot, but when I switch on my pc this morning - nothing :mad:

My email's been fine the whole time, but looking back I have had this problem for a few days now?

I remember a while back seeing a link to check the status of the Enta pipes - you could find out if there were any issues and you could also check to see which one you were connected to at that time? Is that still going?

If things don't pick up this week, I might get in touch with technical support ;)

Im getting my full speeds here again as well, so i don't know what everyones whinging about wanting new centrals up and that, as the pipes are always going to 2mb off peak, load of rubbish, im downing now at 620k odd, wheres this crippling 2mb then, i get nigh on these speeds every weekend. :D
