Web-browsing is getting very slow indeed, just run a speedtest getting 2530kbps on adsl max, used to be up in the 6000+ :(

its been like this a few days now.

Not good by the looks of it :(

Gateway: maple
Central Pipe: Central 5
Central 5 status: Green - OK (Less than 95% total bandwidth used)

oh dear lol

Entanet speeds have been suffering slightly for a week or two, but browsing for me hasn't been affected and it is still lightning quick. I am currently limited to around 2MB most weekends though and right now I am at 2MB.
It's still much quicker than my old BT line though and we will see what difference this next segment makes.

If its going to be like this for a while i might concider migrating. I can handle 3000kbps download speeds, anything less then its a no go.

Browsing is very sluggish :(

Gateway: redwood
Central Pipe: Central 4
Central 4 status: Red - Full (100% of bandwidth used)
Expected Performance: 2

hmm not just me then tried to reconnect 3 times now and still puts me back on damn central 4 im with aquiss btw but they have mentioned a new central to appear on friday hopefully.
starting to get deja vu from my days at eclipse last year :o

Im with Freeola, an Enta provider.

Just now I can only resolve certain pages. I cannot access google or deviantart at all.

Damm you BT they always seem to mess up enta connections. Lets hope with the new segment to be activated this week things will get loads better .

I switched to opendns after my first fiasco with enta's dns servers, haven't had any problems since.

I think a lot people had some downtime lastnight.

They defo need to get some more segments open because the last few weekends have been quite slow compared to when I first joined them. Tbh their still the best isp I've used as support is great and they are always in touch with their customers to let them know whats goin on. It's just my sync is getting lower and lower recently because of the slower speeds :(

They'll probably deploy a load balancing excersize shortly, they always have when this has happened in the past and its worked a treat.

New segment on Friday will help matters.

Suggest anyone with problems reboot their router / modem if they do.

No but when the ALT that enta use kicks in it lowers my sync. So because it's been slowing speeds down a lot due to central capacity, meaning it has made my sync lower due to it not being able to maintain a good sync.

No it doesn't sync is to do with you and the exchange, it isn't effected by the ALT. You may find that because of the street lights going on earlier and central heating in your house that this will reduces the SNR and can cause stability problems.

Ok I must have misunderstood, thanks the clearing it up :)

My IP profile has dropped from 4000 to 2500 in the last month or so due to my sync never being able to hold a good sync for long enough. I just thought this was because of the capacity issues enta have been having.
