And I thought I was going for it this month with 2.35gb used already, lol.

Who pays all your bills people?

Some people in this thread are paying in excess of £30 for broadband alone! CRAZY

So? Some people are better off, Some people dont have the same financial commitments as yourself.

EH?!

I have the money to spend I was just wondering if people who are spending the most are still living with their parents or if they really do love the net that much

Cheeky bugger

Sorry, I didnt mean for you to take offence :/

I live with my parents and I have the max allowance 30 thingy.

With effect from 1 March 2007, the off-peak period for MAX Premium Allowance will commence at 8pm (previously 10pm). The purpose of this move is to ensure that premium users benefit from the available spare capacity during the hours of 8pm - 10pm. The off-peak start time for MAX Allowance products will remain at 10pm.

w00t! :D

I know I'm on Max Premium Allowance, but what's the difference between it and Max Allowance?

Thats the Office one thats moving to 8pm, you get 832kbps up on that one instead of the 448kbps or whatever it you get on normal, means the drop will happen at 8pm instead of 10pm now, they cant cope as it is, all pipes are just over 2mb today, looks like it will be like this every weekend as its all of peak. :D

Yea i'm getting ~1600kbs atm.

But what percentage of ppl are on the business packages? If it's only a small percentage then there shouldn't be too much of a hit between 8-10pm. Either way it should mean that my downloads can be started at 8pm and they won't be as slow as if i started them at 10pm.

That's 2 whole hours maaaaaaaaaaaaaaan

Ofcourse i can see a heck of a lot of users jumping over to the business packages to take advantage of this

The thing is, if a lot of people do this then they will have more money to spend on bandwidth. what is it, £20 for home and £30 for business p/m? If you take out BT port costs/office costs/wages you've about doubled the amount of money given to Enta so they can invest more on centrals.

Not liking the speeds today. All pipes capped pretty early and for most of the day.

Secondly, mega not liking the new off peak times. All the leechers will now start at 8pm rather than 10pm; the peak slow down starts at 8pm and gets worse at 10pm.

Yeh I noticed its been pretty bad this weekend. Wasnt to bad last week, Enta must still be signing a lot of new users up I guess. Still, at least their trying to get more centrals online asap where as a lot of other isp's would drag their feet.

The new 8pm offpeak start time only affects people on office max products, with the non office products still comming on at 10pm. Ive been quite happy with Enta so far, but Be should be enabled at my exchange at end of march, so I may try them out.

EDIT: Those whose services is L2TP based are not affected by this. (Aquiss) etc
