I am probably moving from BT to ADSL24.
BT are capping the crap out of my connection. Weekends I am lucky to get over 30kbps, even though I am syncing at 8128kbps.
BTW, BT are installing central 5 tomorrow for Entanet and they have made a few changes today too.
I like the fact they are always trying to improve their network.
I have the Office 45 connection at home, there is no requirement other than the fact you have to spend more to get it. I was told when i enquired about the benefits of the office product that as well as the 866k upload when there is congestion the office connections get preference, don't know how true that is though.
Getting some lovely download speeds recently and had a ping in CS go as low as 8 yesterday .
Thanks for the quick reply.
I heard that off-peak times on the office products start at 8pm and the home products start at 10pm, which is pretty good.
This might be a dumb question, but does the higher upload of 832kbps have a negative effect on download speeds or line stats, etc?
I think I might go for the office max 45 at the moment.
