UKIP move up to third in polls....

ok heres a question, ignore all the rampent party politics for once on here and name calling but who else can people vote for besides the main 3 partys who lets be honest are getting rather hard to tell apart now.

ukip ?

the greens ?

and who else ?

Monster Raving Looney party.

English Democrats.

It only costs a grand to be a political party so there are always tonnes to choose from. Often not worth the paper you put the vote on though.

Different constituencies have different candidates though as in some areas there is no point in fielding a candidate as it would be a waste of money for a smaller party.

Those are the only two I'd vote for. But if the vote would be wasted I'd rather have Labour back.

Don't be an idiot. Vote for who you want and if who you want isn't available to vote for spoil your ballot. If more people did that we would have a much better represented country.

Hi

Nothing really has changed in this country since the coalition Government came to power unfortunately and with Labour financially ruining this country with the help of Gordon Brown selling most of our Gold reserves for a fraction of its costs, makes me think that maybe someone else should have a try.

UKIP do sound appealing, especially there stance on the EU and immigration.

Meh. The problem with British politics is that it's in such a mess that the population don't trust any of them anymore (with good reason). Most people are fed up of being told lies and half-truths by politicians who, when interviewed, avoid the important questions in an embarassingly obvious manner. All politicians do is attempt to score cheap points of each other, then when they're elected they see what a dire state the country is in and inevitably fail at bringing us out of it. Partly it's due to politicians being tools. Partly it's because they oversell themselves so the public expects miracles from them. And partly it's because the media holds the real power.

We need a real change to the system. A genuine alternative. Not a handful of parties who are much the same, and a few other minor parties who are borderline xenophobes. And every one of them is at the mercy of the media and the 1%.

Discussing about who else to vote for is pointless until the voting system is changed to one which discourages a two-party state. As the British public has already collectively ballsed that one up I think everyone should just knuckle down for another few decades of a bit more o' the same.

Oh and for those voting UKIP to save British sovereignty = LOL. What sovereignty they take back from Brussels will happily be sold on to 'Johnny Foreigner' through their endorsement of globalisation. Just the latter is covert and less comprehensible to the simple-minded.

100% agree with this.

Then you ruined it. As I said above, it is NOT racist to want to leave the EU, or to control immigration.

.

this, very much this. it really annoys me that you can't really bring up the topic of immigration without being labelled racist. its not racist to want to control immigration, sure if they said they want to end immigration completely and remove foreigners from the country (i think BNP said this), but wanting to ease up on the immigration and lower the numbers.

Well, this doesn't matter too much. I mean they're nowhere near as bad as the BNP.

I also think conservatives are going to demolish Labour in the next election... Miliband is weak in opposition, and Cameron is doing better than I expected. Personally I thought this political term would be a poisoned chalice, in that whoever took over would have to make so many cuts that they'd be hugely unpopular. Cameron and co. seem to have done ok though. Admittedly it's not been faultless, but it easily could have been worse.

Also, it's not racist to limit immigration... Now if you said you wanted to stop all non-white people coming into the country but anyone else could enter, then that would be racist, but plenty of countries have quite strict immigration laws. Hell, Britains is one of the most lenient. Even amongst the first world.
