I had one delivered today for my daughters birthday tomorrow, I was wondering how long I should charge it for before using it?
I know some mobile phones need to be charged overnight however it would be handy if I could set it up tonight for her to have in the morning.
It has been on charge from 2.30 pm today.

Any ideas?

Also, she loves the games on milkshake and Nickelodian Jr (she is three) and I believe these need a flash player, can I get one for Android?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
 
You cant get flash from the play store, you'll have to download the APK file (Not hard to find, just google) then just install it from there.

You'll also need a browser that supports flash, Chrome supports it (Pretty sure although I'm not with mine to check)

As for charging, Just give it a full charge and it'll be fine.
 
Thanks chap, it seems to have loaded a flash player automatically on the initial start up, I'll check out chrome.

There isnt a lot of storage on the tablet so I was wondering if it is possible to stream video and audio from my laptop via my home network (BT hub) to the tablet?
 
Thanks chap, free is good but I dont mind paying for apps if they do the job. I will check it out.

Just out of curiosity, how long should the battery last on these?

I charged it from 2.30pm yesterday then set it up early this morning, my daughter played with it for a while then it went back on charge again because we were going out, it was on charge for 4 or 5 hours and this evening it was used to surf the net and it lasted just under an hour and a half before needing charging again, surely it should last longer than that?

Is there anyway to prolong the battery life? It said in settings that the screen took 70 percent of the charge.
