Recently ordered and paid for the Ultima Excalibur system, (i7 930 @ 2.8ghz oc @ 4ghz, with following options.

Lancool PC-K62 Dragon Lord windowed case.
Sapphire Vapor x HD5870 card.
Corsair HX750 modular PSU,
Corsair H50 water cooling unit
Asus Xonar 7.1 sound card
Samsung dvd re-writer (still keeping the advertised Samsung Blu Ray player with Cyberlink blue ray software included)

Was advised as I was ordering Vapor x, and due to limited availability, the system would be somewhat delayed in build and despatch.

However the system arrived 3 days later to my initial surprise...

Within 48 hours it was on its way back, due to the system being sent with unasked for XFX HD5870 card, and an LG blu ray player installed, (with no software to enable it to play Blue ray films). The 'power' and 'activity' lights atop the tower were not connected either.

The return procedure was painless, and rectification proved quick. the Vapor X card was, as luck turned out, in stock upon the systems return. The 'issues'I had were resolved and the system returned.

The system runs well, no BSOD so far and seems stable. it sits in a warm room, idles at max of 48.

All in all, and despite 'teething problems getting the build as ordered' am very happy with the PC, and OCUK staff who were courteous throughout, right down to the Corsair H50 head unit logo being turned slightly for 'aesthetics' reasons. even though it was not a fault as such.

It is my first windowed PC, the Lancool PC-K62 is great, the cables are well hidden throughout and there appears to be good air flow within. it runs fairly quiet too, a reassuring hum is all I generally hear. it looks so good am staring at the insides of the PC almost as much as the monitor.. )) Nice soft blue lighting emits from within the case at night.

Next up (hopefully) is the Logitech Illuminated Keyboard, and either Samsung LED XL2370 or PX2370 Monitors.

Any comments/views welcome, this is my first post, so if its not that great then you know why!

Thanks.

I got a Goliath system in August last year, had a minor issue with it which i sent back and was resolved within 2 days so i agree with you that their staff are brilliant.Haven't had one crash or bsod since, system is extremely stable and temps are near yours kind of my i7 is about 42-45c idle usually whilst sometimes being a bit higher if room is hot.

Yeah i hardly see wiring in mine too, it's extremely tidy and that was using a non-modular psu too.Even am ordering a 2nd pre-built pc from here soon for my mother.(i wouldn't even consider anywhere else.)

What games have you tested so far? with your system i'll say you should try Battlefield Bad Company 2, Crysis+warhead, Batman: Arkham Asylum and Grand Theft Auto as i found these games pretty impressive gfx wise aswell as gameplay wise.

Ultima Excalibur

Hi, i was given Assassins Creed 2 to try via a voucher download, however so far have not had time, it being almost 'Mothers Day' and all..lol.

The system runs on an Asus P6TD mothorboard, and compliments the whole look too within.

Am glad to hear you had a good reply to the initial problems you had with your system, and are happy with it... and I will be getting and trying some/all of the games you mentioned.

Thanks. )

Thanks, I do understand what you mean about the original order, in that it should have come 'as ordered' and not subject to a return to base to have my order fulfilled.

On balance, I am happy that I have it now, it is stable, runs well (so far) and includes all the components I have requested, unlike some major companies who only provide a far shorter pick list of components, and somewhat inflated prices to boot!
