Ultima Mobile - 15.4" WSXGA

After being let down by another supplier and waiting weeks without a result, I searched for other resellers of Clevo laptops and found Overclockers

. After a look at the specs and a quick read on the forum, I decided to go for it.

November 25th - I phoned and discussed availability of the Ultima Mobile - 15.4" WSXGA Laptop plus CPU, memory, and hard disk upgrades and placed my order at around 15:15

15:29 - Received order confirmation e-mail

16:36 - Received Shipping confirmation e-mail

Following day, laptop arrives at 09:25 - that's extremely fast and to say I'm impressed would be an understatement!

What a machine, I'm very pleased with it. Installation and set up went without a hitch, no problems with drivers or anything.

I do have a question though, where do I check for the latest GPU drivers etc? I looked on the Nvidia site and it mentioned Alienware.

Hello Zero4000, and welcome to the world of OcUK!!!

For the latest GPU drivers, there are two choices:
1. The Clevo download site: http://www.clevo.com.tw/en/e-services/Download.asp
2. LaptopVideo2Go's Dox has updated the latest Forceware, so that it is compatible with laptops. The latest drivers can be found here: http://www.laptopvideo2go.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=21982

Be sure to check which version you are installing also.

Erm.... Nope, but I know who you mean lol, did look at them and a couple more before choosing OcUK over the original reseller I ordered from - I tend to look into Companies as much as I can before I deal with them :eek:

I did the same thing before finally purchasing from OcUK.
I've heard Rock support is not only bad now, but it's pretty terrible all the time. Also, they don't have forums, so waiting for a response from anyone in the company could take a while
