Introducing the "Ultima Painkiller", the new ultra high end gaming system from Overclockers UK. Designed and engineered specifically for the launch of Rockstar's brand new game; Max Payne 3.
Continuing the saga of the infamous Max Payne, the setting has now changed to the exotic streets of São Paulo, Brazil where the city is displayed in full DX11 glory, courtesy of the Euphoria dynamic animation engine. With new features to the game series such as cinematic action movements, interactive cut scene and absolutely zero loading screens during gameplay combining with next gen DX11 graphics, you will need a powerhouse of a system to play the game maxed out! This is where out "Ultima Painkiller" steps in.
Based on the brand new Intel Z77 platform the "Ultima Painkiller" has all the latest next generation features necessary for future proof computing such as USB 3.0, SATA 6GB/s, Intel Ethernet and SSD caching.
Re-defining speed with the Intel core i7 3770K CPU overclocked to a mighty 4.80GHz, featuring true quad core performance with hyper threading to bring the count to a total of 8 threads. However speed equals heat, luckily for us our professional in house technicians have constructed an totally custom water loop, to keep the CPU running at ultra cool temps. With ultra yellow watercooling fluid, the "Ultima Painkiller" does look truly striking.
A titanic 16GB of Corsair Vengeance running at 1600MHz provides ample memory for even the most demanding of programs, including Max Payne 3 where it keeps the game running silky smooth. That is some serious power but what use is power if there is nothing to take advantage of it? Well this is where it gets interesting.
Equipped with the storming new Nvidia GeForce GTX 670 2048MB GDDR5 graphics card providing sublime DX11 cinematic graphics delivering a breath taking visual experience. For the ultra hard core gamers where enough is just not simply enough, we offer the option to dual wield and SLI two of these awesome graphics together for game destroying performance. Scaling perfectly in SLI, with unlimited bandwidth, courtesy of the overclocked Intel Core i7 3770K.
Storage is key and the "Ultima Painkiller" is no different, packing a grand total of two SSD's and one mechanical HDD. Both Intel Series 330 SSDs, the first larger drive has a 120GB storage capacity and is the primary boot drive; the second SSD has a 60GB storage capacity which is reserved especially just for the Max Payne 3 install. The Max Payne 3 install is over 35GB in size so having a separate SSD to keep clutter free sweetens the deal even more. Finally a 1TB Hitachi HDD serves as a storage/media drive, useful for storing all of your media and game backups etc.
