just linking for you, but no sorry i havent

Hi, Yes i am an AMD fan and I have gone for twin 7970's and added an 250 gig SSD drive plus swaped the std optical for a BD, Im sure when I looked at the spec last week the cpu cooler was air cooled but if it comes with the liquid one ill be very happy with that.

This will be for work and games im not looking for the fastest setup just something that will give me smooth good looking games :)

That'll be a grat setup.. I can't fault what you've picked atall.

The only other real option is the 2011, this is costly and won't really benifit you much.

All looks to from this end buddy. :)

Hi, im being a bit thick sorry but what is the "2011" ?

Not atall, i should have been clearer.. (i just tend to write out loud). :)

2011 is a socket, such as AM3+. 2011 is used for intels E series. Currently resided by Sandybridge-E (the E standards for Enthusiast).

The 2 'affordable' chips in 2011 are the 4 core 3820 and the 6 core 3930k. Both are great chips but a bit pricey at £240~ and £450+ respecively.

For the money the 8350 is perfect. :)

OC are doing this system has anyone got one of these and if so what is it like ?

"Ultima SCARAB Crysis" AMD FX-8 8350 4.00GHz @ 4.40GHz DDR3 Limited Edition System - Eight Core

Hey mate I pretty much have a similar build. Hardware wise which is:
The CPU fx 8350 but mines clocked at 4.8ghz
Crosshair V formula Z (probably the best or one of the best amd motherboards out there by far) [Looks nice aswell]
My cooler isnt the h80 its kraken x80 with akasa venom fans push and pull
Ram is kingston 1600 16gb duel channel overclocked to like 1900
Graphics card is gigabyte OC 7870 ( which is amazing in its own respect as im playing bf3/crysis maxed out without any issues at all)
Considering the one in this bundle is 7970, thats just overkill and AMAZING.
Sound im using a creative sound card but the onboard on this specific motherboard is dead good compared to standard onboard motherboard sound.
Also in addition to me using ethernet as my main source of internet I also have a wireless pci card installed in my system which I sometimes use if im moving around.

For the price your getting things in this bundle you will NOT be disappointed. It's a very good setup and as I said its quite similar to mine with exception of ram, cooler and gpu I hope this helps

haha looks like I was abit late to post, you have it now which is great. But yeah you'll see that it's amazing. as i said before you wont be disappointed, enjoy your new pc!
