"Ultima Vanquish" Temperature

So I bought the Ultima Vanquish about a week ago its its running as well as I hoped. Although when I run Bad Company 2, the temp goes up to about 79 and the red LED on the mobo turns on. Its this a normal temp for my system when gaming?

Where are you getting that temp reading from?

Program called CoreTemp. Tried RealTemp as well tonight and gives the same readings. Was playing BFBC2 earlier and the system just restarted, check temp as soon as windows loaded up and it was just above 80 degrees.

Sounds to me like the CPU cooler fan has stopped working or is working incorrectly.

Have you checked that its spinning ?

Wonder if the cooler has become loose during transit, take the side off and have a quick look.
