I currently have an Artic Freezer 64 Pro, which is just keepinh my 3800+ X2 below 60c at 2.7GHz

I know the chip will take much more as its only got 1.4v running through it.

So I have been looking at other Socket 939 Coolers, mainly the Gigabyte G-Power Pro GH-PDU21-MF.

Looking at results it gives nearly identical cooling at the low speed compared to my Freezer Pro, but on full speed it runs about 5c cooler. Only problem is thats at 70dB!

Anyone any thoughts on this?

Thanks

Scythe Ninja or Tuniq tower if your willing to spend a bit. The Tuniq tower is very effective from what I've heard.

The G-Power pro is a good cooler, I always run mine at the slowest setting and it is quiet. Atm my 3700sd is sitting at 31'c,and thats with the clock in sig and running the vcore at 1.56v.

The Titan Vanessa looks great.

Much less noise than my Artic Cooler even when its on full whack!

Think I might have to purchase ;)

zalman CNPS9500 is a fantastic cooler, so is the thermaltake blue orb II even though its not well rated by many, i have one on my 3200+ at 2.85Ghz problem was it was too big and was pushing ram module over slightly so i replaced with the CNPS i had lying about and temperatures aren't as good but only by 1-2*C
