what would your ultimate road or country be to ride in or on? is it a local road?

one that you've road yourself or would like to

for me there's only one country id like to ride around and that's new Zealand, the climate and country is beautiful, never been there but god I wish I could emigrate:D

Me too!
I haven't ridden that far out to be honest. Next summer though!

In Switzerland there are 3 mountain passes near each other, and I really should find out their names.

It's the tour my girlfriend's brother took me on when I first got my bike, and I need to go back there now I'm more skilled!

New Zealand is a good shout. I'd say Switzerland having seen Kreeee's blog videos :D!

Dude, I've not uploaded any of the nice parts yet, just around the little are I live in.

Loved Switzerland - not a place for speeding though (I was happy to keep within the limits and take in the scenery)

Three places I still want to explore are Slovenia, Norway and Iceland. Been to Iceland before and hired a 4x4 but would love to tour it on the GS

Iceland i think the cold would put me off but still a nice country, all those hot thermal springs

wouldn't mind Africa aswell, ohh and that road on one of the eagles albums

Got many, many places on my list to see now I have a full licence.

Scottish highlands/west coast
The Ardenne and Eifel regions in France/Luxembourg/Germany
The Alps, of course
Pyrennes
Italy

And loads more, I'm sure :D

I can see a few weekend trips away happening come the summer, it's handy being in Kent - 30 minutes down to the Chunnel, 35 minute crossing + some waiting and you're in France in well under 2 hours.

It's the same time (according to google maps) to get from Calais to the Alps as it is to get from my home in Kent to the other side of Glasgow and into 'proper' Scotland.

Another trip on the 'to do' list is from Nordkapp in Norway (northen most point of Europe) right down to Gibraltar :D
