its extremely cheesey sickeningly so at times but its forgivable for sheer ***** and giggles, i find it highly entertaining.
i have the full 3 series box set which i got for a fiver yonks ago, it was a class buy!
many skint weekends at the end of the month have been lightened up by a few beers and red troops antics!
yeah i like this too - not too sure i would describe any episode as cheesey exactly though.
best / most non cheesey moment for me is when Henno finds out that the troop captain is sleeping with the ginger ones wife and so, once their all alone after an awesome firefight, he takes one of the enemy guns and kills him whilst sipping a drink.
It became too unrealistic, even by TV standards and far too cheesy after season 2. Still, it was reasonably entertaining until I found "The Unit" tv series.

This is very much the problem I find with most British TV these days; it's alright, until you find a US-made equivalent that blows it away completely. British stuff comes across as very low-budget and amateurish in comparison, much of the time.
Ultimate Force is getting on a bit now, especially the early series'. It's not like it had a huge budget thrown at it and I think if it was made again today it would look a lot better with the technology that is available today.
My biggest problem with the show though was how they killed off characters a few times when they weren't back for a new series. There is one (I forget which) where they kill them all off on a gun fight on some streets where you can't see their faces... was pretty rubbish.
