The spec does say 8pin to 4pin power cable, so that must be a molex to 8pin CPI-E

looking at http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=GX-274-SP&groupid=701&catid=56&subcat=1752 says 2x 6pin but evverywhere else I've looked says 1 6pin and 1 8pin, think ocuk need to correct that

so looking at the sapphire website it says the 8pin adater is included, but is it safe to use? or better just to go with a 6950 that requires 2x 6pin?

I myself wouldnt use one.

You can save about £30 per card by just getting more normal ones and not worrying about the slight speed difference only noticeable in benchmarks.

all 6950's use 2x 6 pins, it's the 6970's that use a 6 and a 8pin

well the toxic is a 6970 in disguise(well if you're lucky)

it comes with a premodified bios that may unlock the shaders and it's clocked 6970 stock speeds.
