Hi all,

Have a few people coming round tonight for a bit of a **** up and a laugh.

Me and the gf have a ps2 with Buzz and Singstar so that's the PS2 sorted out for the evening.

Wanted a game or two for the 360 which is party orientated.

Any ideas?

Your stuck with the ps2 i'm afraid, unless you play the woefull fusion frenzy 2.

Doesn't have to be the type of games singstar and buzz are.

Anything that's a good laugh with numerous people playing.

Fusion frenzy 2 is really the only party game on the 360.
Though there is Rayman Raving Rabids, also Guitar hero 2 but you might aswell get that on the PS2 for cheaper.

Nothing on the 360 really. Unless you want to play football games, not really party games I know.

If you really want some party games, get a nintendo (wii / gamecube) good party games on there.

Gonna rent Fusion Frenzy first I think. Will do that tonight.

Just thought of another which could be a laugh.

Burnout Revenge

Tbh this is something the PS2 excels at you won't find better party games than Buzz and Singstar tbh I've got a few of the different singstar discs and a couple of buzz games and you can wile away a night easy just playing them.

If you'd got a wii you would already have a great party game in Wii Sports.

Remember playing a demo of fusion frenzy on the original xbox it was a load of crap gladiator style rolling around in metal balls games with one classic game the one where you went round a tower and had to duck and jump under and over poles it got faster and faster until everyone dropped out and was really good fun.

I bought my Wii primarily for a party console, but a ps/2 would be a cheaper option. Such a shame Mario Party seems to be a very lazy port, I was looking forward to that :(

I was thinking really of a console from this century but the N64 was a classic :p

Mario Kart 64 was a classic (the gamecube one is tripe though) as was goldeneye and perfect dark but they don't compare to the pick up and playability of buzz and singstar even non gamers can play on a level playing field with gamers.

Best party games on the gamecube for me were Wario Ware and donkey konga.

Might wanna check Dreamcast too!

Power Stone = ACE party game, I remember good ole' Power Stone fights. :D

Also Quake 3 Arena on Dreamcast wasn't half bad. :p

lol can people re-read the thread title :p

Ultimate party game not ultimate party console ;)

Thanks for the replies anyhow.

Was just looking for games on the 360 really.

Gonna go with Burnout Revenge I think and rent that Fusion Frenzy game.

If those two fail, singstar and buzz it is.

If that fails, beer and the woman can play strip poker.

The best party games are those anyone can play. As much as I love Mario Kart etc, it doesn't qualify unless you're having a session with gaming friends.

So far the Wii truly excells for party games - you don't need anymore than Wii Sports/Play and Wario Ware. Not since the DC has party gaming been this good, and it's never been this accessible :)

To my knowledge the 360 has little to offer other thasn Guitar Hero, and even that may prove daunting to non gamers.
