Ultr high res wallpapers ?

I'm looking for some true 4k+ pictures, I have a few and they look immense but most I've found on the net are just upscaled from 1080 or 1440p.

Any info is appreciated

Just to be clear, 4K resolution is only 8MP. Pretty much every camera sold for the last 5 years have been in the 12-36Mp resolution. Therefore, basically any photo from a stills camera will have more than enough resolution.

Find a photo you like and ask permission to use it. Search Flickr for example.

I got a better camera in March & posted some pics on Flickr. Let me know if you want 1 or 2 resizing to 4k.

Wow some insanely detailed pictures

What I'm really after is night sky and deep space type screenshots that when you look at them half of your face melts on to the desk

Sorry was eating hence nothing more, what that is is Milkyways (which I think always look epic and photographers love capturing them) with Creative Commons licensing which in most cases (if not all, can't think) allows you to download the images and use them freely aslong as not commercially or other bits.

They do, but they're not all the best. Try handholding a 800mm lens in space

The best ones are taken from the hubble etc

Just be sure to resize to the res of your desktop as windows is not very good at auto resizing wallpaper.

http://interfacelift.com is great for landscape photos, and some composite stuff. Most of my desktops for the past couple of year are from there.

Plenty of resolution options as well, including Retina Apple device resolutions and 4K.

Any way of searching flickr for image by size as well? I have dual 1600p screens at work so need wallpapers of 5120 pixels wide to cover them both, which is a pretty tall order!
