Seen some in stock on a competitors site, wanted to know whats the best compatible fan for it and how do you actually go about attaching it to the heatsink.

For the Fan probally a Scythe or Noctua fan, not 100% sure so wait for someone who knows more about it. The fan is attached with clips that clip into the middle of the heatsink and into the screw holes in the fan
