DFI Ultra D power problems

im having some power problems with mine. I have a sonata 2 case and I have installed the cpu/heatsink fan and connected the cpu fan up.
I have plugged the 'pci-e' 6 pin into the graphics card that comes from the power supply.

I have a 20pin atx connection and a seperate 4 pin connection next to it that says '24pin motherboards only' on it. this I have plugged in to the top part of the power connection with the 4 teeth pointing upwards.
The other 4 pin connection goes into the one next to it.

I power on and the DRAM orange light goes on, I press the power button or the one on the motherboard and nothing happens, no fans spin up or anything
help me!

All the connections are good so it should work.

When my old PSU died it did the same, the mobo light would come on still but nothing happened when I powered up, just like your situation, but I doubt your PSU will have died.

my antec sonata 2 case/450 smartpower psu is less that 3 months old and everything worked fine in it before. Im going to try my NF7 in there later on, ill just connect the board without cpu/fans or anything
