Ultra mobile laptop required

Hi,

I am in the market for a ultra mobile laptop to compliment my desktop and HP 17" laptop (which is a little large\heavy for travelling with).

I am going to use for travelling and just to keep down the sida of the sofa for those moments when you want to research something!

The key considerations are:


  • Light
    Portable
    Good performance
    Long battery life
    Good quality screen with hi-res

Cost isn't an issue for the right bit of kit, but value is important! :)

The advent 4211 IS a MSI wind just branded differently (and is considerably cheaper).

It runs Windows XP (as standard) and is powerful enough to run basic games.
 
wait a couple of days for new apple announcement and see if a macbook (meant to be metal) is to your liking, if it is get a copy of vista/xp and run in bootcamp :)

Alternatively get the sony vaio tt or the model its replacing. Theres also the dell latitude models in a range of screen sizes from 12" upwards
