Help me choose guys!
I have been looking round for a while for a very light but fully fledged laptop that I can put in my camera backpack.
Needs to run Lightroom 5, possibly occasional photoshop and maybe Premiere Elements.
Might have Fusion or Parallels with one or two machines.
Not being used as my main editing machine but just not sure what I should get in terms of screen size, RAM and CPU power.
Not going above 8Gb RAM though due to cost. Also wonder for my use if I need any more than 128Gb storage? Photos will be moved after each use anyway.

Shortlist (in no particular order)
Surface Pro 2 - Pros: nice portability. Wacom stylus input. High res screen. Cons: small screen size, no built in keyboard. 4Gb RAM except top model. High res screen maybe too much for 10"?

Macbook Air: Pros: Light and compact, solid build, good keyboard and touchpad.
Cons: Relatively low res on either version. 4Gb unless special order (prefer to buy in store)

Macbook Pro 13": Pros: Keyboard and touchpad. Screen?? CPU seems to be the best of the bunch.
Cons: Maybe not as 'portable' as the other two. Question re actual working resolution of screen.

I already use Mac and Windows. Although Windows is the dominant OS not bothered to swap for this if it fits my use better. Software I want is identical to both.

No comments from anyone?!
Think the Macbook Pro will be the one anyway.
Had anothe play with the Surface Pro and just don't think the screen is physically big enough for my intended use even though it has good resolution.
In fact i would say the display is pretty awesome!

Thanks dor the suggestilns.
I have had a quick look at both of those. The UX301 I could only find listed at the moment in a top spec i7 version but i guess when launched there will be lower sepc versions too.

Sony looks OK, but upping to 8Gb RAM does bump the price! Still surprised most of these are still only given 4Gb as standard.
I guess they know they can get more money as an option as it has to be factory fitted.....

Got really close to ordering a Vaio Pro 13 as the are special deals on SSD and memory upgrades.
Read a few reviews though that have put me off.
Looks like it could be TOO light and thin as they mentioned build quality and flexing as being quite noticeable.

Still £900 seemed a good price for the i5 with 8Gb and 256Gb Pcie SSD on offer!
