Ultra VNC problem connecting between offices

trying to connect to our office 30 mile away. using ultra VNC.

i've called them up to make sure they are runing the server. still nothing connecting. not even asking me for passwords.
any ideas at all.

i have got the local machine + the internet ip and port to try. but nothing.

any ideas?

Have you set up the correct port forwarding on the router/firewall?

Does it work internally at the office?

it works internally no problam at all.

the router hasnt been changed for years and has worked before (about year ago)

If it works internally then it has to be a routing problem.

Either the port being forwarded has changed or the IP has changed or it hasn't been setup at all.

Maybe the IP of the computer to which you are trying to connect has changed, is it a static address or does it pick up an address by DHCP?
