Hi guys, running the dell 34" utra wide monitor here and im having problems with amazon instant videos displaying at full screen. Is there any software or tweaks i need to make to get this to work? i have sorted this issue with netflix using developer tool downloads via google chrome but have hit a brick wall with amazon. any help much appreciated

Same monitor here. The videos display in 16:9 with black bars rather than natively going to the 21:9 size without the bars. You might be able to find a browser extension that can do it, such as "Netflix Ultrawide Display Support" (which is only active on Netflix, I wish it could do all full screen videos) that actually stretches the video to fill the screen. Perfect on films, but sometimes crops bits out of 16:9 content.

Ultrawide Video is a Chrome extension to allow Netflix and Youtube videos, but doesn't support Amazon Instant. :(

I've got the netflix "fix" its just for everything else.....disappointing that i can't seem to get anything to fix this.....breaks my heart to see those black bars unused :(

I know. :(

I've got PowerDVD 14 and it allows you to zoom to fill the screen correctly, but that means you either need the file, DVD or Blu-ray. Not much use for streaming. It's good quality though, not zooming in and causing a pixelated mess.
