Hi guys, I've been using Nvidia surround for 4yrs, 3x27" ips monitors but I only run them at 5760x1080.. My question is if I was to swap over to a single super wide what would be a good replacement.. All I play is BF4. Thanks guys

A single 3440x1440 monitor has 4.95M pixels compared with your current 6.2M pixels so you should see a performance boost. But you might consider a single GTX 1080 or Titan XP and running your monitors at full resolution.

Umm... those monitors have Displayport ports, don't they?

not sure if nvidia is the same as eyefinity but i did not like the fish eye look on the outer edges of the triple screen set up, 21.9 3440x1440 is so much nicer to use imo

My option was a single screen that still has a triple view kinda feel but would be able to use my 680's still or upgrade the cards and keep the triple screen setup but i think a single screen would be better, the 680's still hit 60fps plus at 5760x1080 so they should be good on a superwide i hope.. My screens are DVI only..

Yeah it does the same, looks kinda strange on the outer monitors, another reason to change to a single i guess :)

I'm in the same boat as you, currently the Acer x34A has my attention although Asus also do a monitor with the same panel. As for powering it, you might have to upgrade your gfx if you want 60+ fps at that resolution..
