Hey all - as the title suggests really, I love the look of the CM-V10 and just wondering how it would compare to the Thermalright Ultra120

I imagine it to be better as it's newer etc but you never know do ya! :)

Thanks in advance...

V10 is a failed TEC solution. Credit to CM for trying something new however on this ocassion it simply doesn't work as well as they would have liked.

I like the look of it too but I wouldn;t fancy having to remove the heatsink every time I changed memory.

Fair play though, how often do you change memory?

It is a bit of a gimmick cooler isn't it :) I just think it looked cool with the downward facing LED fan :)

SouthEastBlue, it's not a RAM cooler, it's a TEC cooler for extra cooling performance when the CPU gets over a certain temperature (unfortunately that temp is silly high so most of the time it's off (I would bypass that however and simply have that fan plugged into a PWM socket or slap a molex on it :))

Yeah, did one build with a V10 for a guy who wanted uber bling. Did a little comparison and the Megahalems and U120E revision C i had on hand ate it alive.
