I was considering to buy an LG 42" but felt it was a bit overkill for my desktop space.
However I just came across this article about LGs next Ultragear 45 widescreen.... which maybe more suitable (although need to check the dimensions!)

In anycase here is the article I read: https://www.neowin.net/news/lg-unveils-new-ultragear-gaming-and-ultrafine-ergonomic-monitors/

Looking forward to more details on this!

Did you see the Corsair version of this if not check it out.

Yes saw that too... tbh if you have set the curvature already, I wonder whats the point to keep changing it....

E: maybe going from game mode to desktop mode perhaps... hmm

LG is looking good, just unsure if it'll be TOO wide for me (and I have a 2m long desk!!). A curved 34in pulled in fairly close is doing me well atm, and has the PPI definition to carry it off...

Im trying to find dimensions of this thing but so far cant find anything...
I do prefer a 3440 x 1440 affair than the 38" 3840 x 1600...
This should at least give you a rough idea of a 38 vs 45in 21:9;

Problem I currently have is that my 34in UW pulled fairly close already fills my vision and the 45 is a massive step up in size. Hopefull smaller sizes to follow :)

Cheers for the link JF. Makes sense that this would be even wider than the 42" C2 a fair bit wider...
I have a 35" AGON AOC.... being 82cm length compared to this being 105cm length (screen size)....

Found out about this monitor when I was reading up about the new Corsair flexible monitor. Have tried to find out some more information but so far not much out about it. Wish LG would made a proper page for it at their website and not only have an article in their newsroom section about it.

Did find this though and if it is true (not seen it anywhere else) then it seems the monitor has AMD FreeSync Premium, which would be great ! Since I have a AMD GPU ! :p

But I guess we have to wait until LG comes out with more information to be sure about that.

On another note, the resolution is mentioned to be 3440x1440 and would you more experience monitor experts say that would be a too low resolution for the size of the monitor ? Saw a comment on Tom's Hardware that due to the monitor being 45" then the PPI would be so low that the text would look terrible on this monitor ?? Would love to hear others opinons about the monitor ?!
