Dual setup here - done something very odd; the task bar of the secondary monitor has migrated to vertical plane against the right side of the screen. Try as I may I cannot shift it back to the lower horizontal where it belongs - have tried dragging it & scoured UtraMon's settings but can see nothing relevant

using ultramon 2.7.1 on XP Pro

any help much appreciated

thanks

Sols

Right-click on it and untick 'Lock Taskbar'. You should then be able to drag it onto any side of any screen. The triangle in the corner of the taskbar is the draggable bit.

Taskbar isn't locked. I can drag it in and out ie expand and compress it laterally, but that is all. Can't see the triangular corner you refer to

I should add, I can freely move the taskbar of the primary monitor from horizontal to vertical and back again

Problem solved!

the triangular corner was simply not visible on the secondary monitor. I copied it over to the primary (vertically); the triangle was then visible and manipulable. Dragged to horizontal and copied it across to the secondary monitor. Deleted the original. done.

thanks for the help :)
