Ultrawide and TV dual display help

Hi

I wonder if anyone can help me, I have a 3440x1440 wide and next to it is my 32 inch TV, now can I use the TV to play games from steam that do not work in 3440x1440 like dragon dogma, the monitor is connected via DP and the TV HDMI.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I've just set up my 16:9 Samsung TV with an Acer X34A and found this old thread after searching.

I'm looking to watch Netflix and BT Sport on the secondary (16:9) display, and also play games that don't support Ultra Wide. What's the best way to switch primary displays? Is there a hot key solution?
