I'm looking for people's experiences with monitor arms for 34" ultrawides.

Have a monitor on a standing desk I'm dual purposing for a small workbench / soldering desk, so freeing up the extra space is a major bonus, but also need confidence sliding the monitor out of the way whilst I'm flicking solder everywhere!

Any thoughts on decent value units?

I use this one, can either clamp to the desk or drill a hole through to bolt it to the desk, get the odd slight wobble if you knock the desk but I get that when its on it factory stand as well (Phillips 346P) description says 13"-32" inch but my monitor comes in at about 25kg so below max weight for the stand but obviously check the weight of your monitor first. Been using for 6 months and have moved my desk a couple of time with the monitor still attached and had no issues.

EDIT: Helps to actually put the link in

My Alienware 34" is mounted one of these for the last two years.

Will give that one a to thanks, not the cheapest but seems to be frequently mentioned. I was torn between that one and LGTENPRO but haven't heard from as many people using that!

@peahead do you have the mount central or off to one side? Seen a few people mounting the base on the left of the desk to flatten the mech a little against walls, windows etc.

It's mounted off to one side of my desk yes, you don't need to use the whole length you can make is shorter if you wish.
