Ultrawide monitor with high refresh rate and g-sync

I've been looking to buy a PC again after having used macs for years. Are there any ultrawide g-sync enabled monitors that don't look like they were designed by a teenager? Seriously can't believe some of these panels are £1000+ and look so ugly, surely people that can afford this sort of thing want something a bit more tasteful? Perhaps I'm in the minority here.
