So last night i decided to take out my motherboard, graphics card and the stock intel cooler as i decided to fit an old spare 3rd part cpu cooler i had lying around.
So i took everything off and after half an hour realised that the new 3rd party cooler was missing a few parts so i decided to put the stock cooler back on (I also put on some new thermal paste).

Now when i boot my PC everything spins ect, but there is no display on my monitor at all. Also i cant hear the noise i usually hear when the hard drive is used to boot the OS. Finnally the stock cooler is spinning at 100% :S

What do you think the fault/problem is?

Thanks ocuk ;)

Not trying to make you sound stupid, as i don't really have a clue what the problem is either, but is everything all in place and connected correctly?
Monitor or gfx....

It's probably something trivial :p

Make sure your 4-pin from the PSU to the motherboard is firmly connected. I had exactly the same problem as you and that was the solution.
